"The ability to sense, understand and effectively apply the power and acumen of emotions....."
Mapping & Developing EQ incorporating the EQ Map™
Emotional Intelligence is complex, multidimensional, and varies from person to person. There is no single set of skills or traits that define EQ but rather a blend of variables that intersect forming unique patterns or personal profiles. Some of these variables include one's life experiences, current pressures, changes and satisfactions, personal competencies or skills and core values and beliefs. These comprise some of the many dimensions of emotional intelligence and are measured in the EQ Map™. The EQ Map™ is designed to help individuals assess their personal EQ levels and enhance their EQ leadership and performance in the workplace.
The Emotionally Intelligent Leader
Leading by example, building resilience, valuing relationships, inviting disagreement, increasing energy & effectiveness under pressure - these are just a few of the essential competencies for leadership in work and in life. Using the power inherent in the EQ Map™, workshop participants gain personal insight and a working understanding of Emotional Intelligence for leadership in business.
Participants understand the Three Driving Forces of Competitive Advantage, and how to develop and apply skills and competencies in Emotional Intelligence to enhance their relationships, and the profitability of their organisation.
Executive EQ incorporating EQ Map™
This workshop, specifically designed for Executives and Senior Managers, is run as a 2-day residential retreat. It explores current research in EQ, the business imperatives for EQ, including the Three Driving Forces of Competitive Advantage to demonstrate the importance of an Emotionally Intelligent workforce, and explores the Executive Team's overall EQ strengths and vulnerabilities.
A number of specifically designed activities demonstrate "EQ in Action", and the residential format environment enables a degree of group intimacy which is otherwise difficult to achieve.
