Emotional Intelligence

Our capacity to interact effectively with others is not only a critical competency in all aspects of work and performance but also has a significant impact on our wellbeing and happiness.
Daniel Goleman, a psychologist and science writer for the New York Times, popularised EQ through the publication of his first book on the subject in 1995. We now know that IQ & EQ are not opposing competencies but complementary and recent research has confirmed that most issues facing individuals and organisations are emotionally based. Building self awareness and EQ can dramatically increase personal and organisational performance.
Using the seminal EQ Map™ from ESSI Systems, we can tailor a variety of training workshops and executive retreats for businesses which clearly address these challenges, identify the key drivers for competitive advantage and provide a proven, sustainable model for behavioural change.
More information on specific leadership programmes can be found under "Core Training Programmes" - Emotional Intelligence.
