The HBDI™, or Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument, is a tool which measures thinking preferences. It is one of the most powerful and most flexible diagnostic tools available.

Understanding and applying the HBDI™ in your work environment means you can build powerful relationships at both individual and team level.

It can be used in a multitude of ways; to build teams, teach skills, increase personal effectiveness, improve learning ability and teach creative thinking. Because it measures the way people think, it has an almost unlimited application.

Each participant completes a questionnaire (either paper or web-based), comprising of 120 questions. This is completed and returned to Australian Business Class for processing and scoring. The participants each receive a comprehensive pack including an individual explanation of their own preferences (how they prefer to think, act, communicate with others), a full colour graphical representation depicting their preferences on transparency, a detailed data sheet, and 4 booklets explaining the instrument and the results.

The HBDI™ is debriefed in a highly interactive, fun environment, to ensure each participant has an increased understanding of their own preferences and those of their colleagues.

Australian Business Class has consultants certified in the use of the HBDI™ psychometric profiling tool (fast becoming the HR instrument of choice for many organisations) and is the Queensland Scoring Centre for the HBDI™ tool. This tool is used in many of our programs and HR interventions at both an individual and team level.
